Dy Speaker calls on Chief Minister, seeks relief for Gurez fire victims | KNO

Several legislators also meet CM; apprise her about dev needs of their constituencies Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Khan (Gurezi) called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today. He brought into the notice of the Chief Minister the extent of damage suffered by the residents of Kilshey village of Gurez area due to a massive fire incident two days ago. He also demanded relief and rehabilitation of the affected people at the earliest. The Chief Minister assured Mr. Gurezi that she has already directed the Bandipore district administration to provide all facilities of shelter and assistance to the people affected by the blaze on war footing basis in view of the coming winter. Meanwhile, several legislators also met the Chief Minister today and apprised her about the problems of their areas and constituencies. The legislators informed the Chief Minister about the developmental pace in their constituencies and also brought many of their issues into her notice. The legislators who met Mehbooba Mufti included MLA, Batamaloo, Noor Muhammad Sheikh; MLA, Poonch, Shah Muhammad Tantray; MLCs, Saif ud Din Bhat and Sofi Yousuf. The Chief Minister listened to the demands of the legislators and assured them that these would be looked into by the Government on priority.
